This pendant Model Name Bolla (Bubble) Model Number 1638 by Elio Martinelli for Martinelli Luce is rarely seen.
Martinelli's use of cylinders and rectangles intersecting a divided sphere, as well as his use of red, black and white, nod toward early twentieth century, european avantgarde design. While very large..18 inches.. this perspex globe is very light in weight. Its design is both pleasing and technical.
