X-Large Emil Stejnar Midcentury Sputnik Brass Chandelier Rupert Nikoll, Austria
-
Description
We are delighted to present this exquisite Mid-Century Blowball Snowflake Sputnik chandelier from the 1950s. Designed by Emil Stejnar and crafted by Rupert Nikoll in Vienna, Austria, this exceptional piece is not a standard model. Originally custom-made for a Viennese café in the early 1950s, the chandelier boasts an impressive diameter of 32 inches, making it a true statement piece.
Crafted from brass with a distinctive white central ball—a hallmark of its early production—this chandelier is adorned with an abundance of crystals and delicate glass flowers. It features 17 light sources and is in good original condition, showcasing a charming patina on the brass that highlights its age and authenticity.
The current total drop height of the chandelier is 50 inches, with a height of 29 inches excluding the brass rod. As a complimentary service, we offer to adjust the length of the brass rod to suit your specific needs. The chandelier is fitted with 17 E14 light sockets and includes discreet, invisible E14-to-E12 adapters for effortless compatibility with global standards, including those used in the USA and EU.
This piece is not only a stunning example of mid-century design but also a testament to the craftsmanship and elegance of its era. -
