Description
Pair of lamps with a cylindrical base formed by a succession of black marble disks veined with white, from which rises a chrome-plated shaft supporting a white lacquered metal cap with two lights, which supports the large, slightly flared round lampshade. Original shade in off-white cotton, dark beige interior. The height of the shade is adjustable, thanks to a ring ending in a knob fixed above the shade, and sliding on the chrome-plated steel shaft.

Florence Knoll Bassett (born Florence Marguerite Schust in Saginaw, Michigan in 1917 and died in Coral Gables in 2019) was an American architect and designer.
