Description
Articulated floor lamp by Fontana Arte. Italy, c.1961. Jointed brass arms set with bakealite cap, brass central column in a glass base. Red enameled shade. All original, brass shows exquisite patination, shade has wear along rim, appropriate with age. Base has slight imperfection in metal edge.
Specified by Gio Ponti for the Hotel Parco dei Principi, Sorrento 1961.
