A French Napoleon III period eight-light crystal chandelier from the mid-19th century with brass armature. Born in France during the reign of Emperor Napoleon III's reign, this exquisite chandelier features a crystal shaft topped with scrolling accents supporting large pendeloques. The eye is lead to discover the eight scrolling brass arms, each supporting a brass flower-shaped bobèche and a candle sleeve. The chandelier's lower section is adorned with a ring of crystals surrounding a central faceted circular finial that creates a perfect visual conclusion. With its elegant crystal décor and brass accents, this French Napoleon III period chandelier circa 1860 will enliven any room beautifully. It is wired for the US.
