French 19th Century Louis XVI-Style Marble Lamp

A stunning solid marble, column-form oil lamp base that has been electrified for use as an impressive table lamp. The Corinthian style column is ivory in color, with beautiful rust-colored veins, and rests on a stacked marble base. The gilt brass ormolu that adorns the antique fixture is remarkable. From the laurel wreath finial, laden with flowers and ribbon, to the classic Corinthian capital, down to its leaf and berry motif base, the lamp is dripping with gold accents. Did we mention the lion paw feet? The fixture has been wired for US using UL listed components. Corset-form, white linen shade included.
