-
Description
A French Louis-Philippe period 10-light crystal chandelier from the mid-19th century, with gilt metal armature, pendeloques and round finial. Born in France during the first half of the 19th century, this exquisite chandelier features a gilt metal armature, accented with an abundance of crystals, surrounding central crystal columns. The gentle scrolls of the upper area lead our eye to the chandelier's main section, comprising of 10 scrolling arms, supporting flower-shaped bobèches and their candles sleeves. The ensemble finds its perfect conclusion with the faceted round finial that decorated the lowest part. With its golden hue beautifully complimenting the translucent quality of the crystals, and elegant silhouette, this Louis-Philippe mid-19th century crystal chandelier will enliven any home. The chandelier is wired for the US and comes with a chain and canopy.
