Large and rare 'Fungo' table lamp from the iconic Rising Sun Series with lacquered bamboo strips and polished brass details on dome shade atop elegant flared brass base in a brushed gold finish, Italy, 1970s. Impressed with facsimile signature and artist’s cipher to shade and base 'Gabriella Crespi'. Fully restored and rewired to U.S. standards.

This is the largest model of this bamboo 'Fungo' table lamp series and is a striking and iconic example of Crespi's deft use of natural material to beautifully create organic lighting pieces. Gabriella Crespi adorned her own Milan apartment with a version of this 'Fungo' table lamp (see last image).
