1960s Gilardi and Barzaghi large glass tripod table or floor lamp. A quintessentially 1960s Italian design executed in opaline glass, black painted metal and brass. A sculptural and refined design characteristic of midcentury Italian design at its highest level. Gilardi and Barzaghi was one of the most innovative lighting design teams in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing available from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Wired for US with black cord, on/off switch and period styled wall plug. Accommodates 2x 60W equivalent US e26 medium base LED bulbs (lower with incandescent).
