Large Italian Mid-Century Modern pendant or chandelier in glass and brass by Gio Ponti and Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte, Milan.

The piece is composed of brass hardware and 2 glass reflectors. The central reflector is round curved opaque glass which mounts below a large round clear glass reflector with an open center containing 6 electrical sockets. Brass hardware and stem unite the pieces together into a sober, modern statement that provides transparency, yet soft and modulated light.

Height is adaptable to need; the piece can also be adapted to flush mount as a ceiling fixture. The chandelier can be set up for six Edison sockets.
