Pair of 1960s Giuseppe Ostuni Model #101 Red Articulating Sconces for O-Luce. Executed in polished chrome and red painted perforated aluminum shade. Sconces pivot up/down and left/right. An incredibly clean and refined design by one of the Italian lighting icons of the modern age.

O-Luce was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know.

Original on/off switch on top of lamp. Wired for US electrical J-boxes. Custom period style polished chrome backplates for hardwiring to a standard American j-box. Each sconce takes one US candelabra 60w maximum LED bulb (lower with incandescent). Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Minor patina, bends, dents and scuffs noted only for accuracy.
