-
Description
Due to the rarity and significance of this piece we have chosen to leave it in original condition and avoid any modifications or replacement parts, only the brass has been polished to give it a more vibrant look.
Gunnel Nyman (1909 – 1948) was a Finnish glass, furniture and metal artist, and one of the founders of modern Finnish glass design. She was also one of the biggest names in th Finnish modern design movement of the early 20th century. Unfortunately, due to her premature death at 39, and even though she managed to design numerous beautiful objects, she also left us with a sense of owe and wonder to what she could've designed with a longer career. -
