A beautiful wall lamp model V-149/2 designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson and manufatured by his own company in Markaryd Sweden in the 1950s. Featuring a beautiful patinated brass frame and two very big and distinct smoked glass shades. This piece is certainly a prime example of Mid-Century Scandinavian design. The combination of brass and translucent glass, along with the arrengement of the light bases gives an even distribution of warm light across the surrounding space creating a cosy visual effect.
Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009) was a renowned Swedish designer and architect, who gained international recognition for his elegant and timeless lighting designs. His creations often feature clean lines, quality craftsmanship and a minimal aesthetic. His work continues to be admired to this day. -
