This elegant table lamp was produced by Böhlmarks in Sweden in the late 1940s. The rare lamp is marked with the manufacturer's logo and the model number '15663' on the underside of the foot. The design is attributed to Harald Notini, one of the lead designers working for Böhlmarks at the time.
The design features a circular brass foot, accented by a centrally placed decorative corrugated detail. The stem is crafted from solid elm wood, with vertically fluted, carved lines, giving the wood a beautiful texture and depth. The brass bulb holder adds another refined touch to the overall design. The cone-shaped shade, newly replaced, is made from a linen-textured ivory fabric, complementing the lamp’s elegant form.
The lamp is in overall good condition with a nice patina on the brass details. Completely renewed shade. Currently with 220V European wiring, with a regular E26/E27 bulb fitting.
