1950s Boris Lacroix table lamp. This rare and elegant table lamp is executed in red metal and brass, France, circa 1950s. A celebrated Art Deco lighting designer who successfully made the transition to Mid-Century Modern idiom, Jean Boris Lacroix's iconic table lamp shares a similar aesthetic to the much sought after Minimalist designs of his peer and protege, Serge Mouille.

Origin: France Period: 1950-1979 Materials: Enameled Metal, Brass Condition: Good. Rewired in flat black cloth wire. Single socket 75w max bulb. Minor patina, scuffs, rust, and dings. A few spots of paint loss, most of which are discretely located and noted only for accuracy (see photos).
