This pair of lamps is typical of designer JC Mahey’s mid-century brass and lacquer work. A rich black lacquer base feels serious and sophisticated and is offset by brass accents, including Chinese lettering on the base. Their minimal design and trendy coloring makes them ideal for both vintage and contemporary interiors, and the crisp white shades give the lamps a chic, urban feel. The pair is found in very good vintage condition.
