Incredibly rare Leather Strap and Steel brutalist ceiling pendant light, designed by Jean-Pierre Ryckaert in France in the 1950's. the thick leather straps wrap around the bent steel bracket which holds the two E27 (large screw in) to the top a secondary bracket is connected to the thick forged chain. A wonderful original example of Ryckaerts iconic and inspired design, this model of light is extremely rare and of very large proportions. Patina and age related markings as to be expected from a piece of this vintage.
