Very fine pair of table lamp by exclusive Stockholm silversmith and jeweler Karl Anderson (1865-1938) having a hammered tiered round base on ball feet with fob in silver with swirling ebony stand; Sweden, 1926-1928; stamped maker and silver hallmarks and year mark.
K. Anderson (1892-1975; owned by C.G. Hallberg from 1927) was considered the finest silversmith workshop of Sweden's Arts and Crafts / National Romanticism period, and was renowned for its high level of quality workmanship and finishing, such as the notably beautiful hammering technique of this lamp. -
