Description
"J.M.F. Floor Lamp" in gunmetal glazierite with polished brass base and hardware and parchment shade by Karl Springer, American 1970's. Glazierite was a type of resin that the craftsmen who worked for Springer created. It is unique to his pieces. Height is adjustable.
Reference:
Karl Springer red binder catalog, published in the 1980’s, section “lighting”, page 6 shows 2 examples of this lamp. The one on the left is in glazierite. Top of page reads “KARL SPRINGER LTD J.M.F. FLOOR LAMP (page) 6”.
