Mid Century Modern Lightolier Chandelier in the Style of Paavo Tynell c. 1950s
-
Description
Brass, painted metal, and glass Mid Century Modern chandelier made by Lightolier circa 1950s. This chandelier's contrast of softly curved brass arms and central black metal rod details give a sense of both strength and beauty. Moving forward from similarly shaped floral inspired Paavo Tynell's fixtures, this Lightolier chandelier has a starburst center of black metal rods. Subtle but tipped in brass for attention. Black and brass is timeless and forever sexy. Original glass sconces are in great condition with no damage. An understated statement piece merging early and late mid century modern design.
