A beautiful LJP adjustable wall light in full brass. This lamp has a ball joint holding the shade and allows the shade to be adjusted in all directions. The stem is also adjustable to both side. The lamp is in good vintage condition and a gorgeous patina. Perfect for a bed side or as a reading lamp.
Lisa Johansson-Pape (1907-1989) was a Finnish designer best known for her works in lightings. She paid more attention to the function of the lamp firstly, then the design feature secondly. Lisa designed furniture for Stockmann for a number of years, after which she turned her attention to lamps, also at the Stockmann owned company Orno Oy. She won a number of medals for her lighting designs in the Milan Triennials in the 1950s. -
