Description
This pair of Mid-Century Modernist Saturn Sconces by Lorin Marsh suggests the curvilinear lines of Art Deco designs employing modern materials evocative of 1970s design. These materials- radiant polished chrome and crystalline lucite- magnify the innate luminosity of the fixture, provided by each of the Edison bulbs housed within. The sconces feature a two-tiered design, consisting of stepped demi-lune lucite inserts that intersect the curved planar surface of the polished chrome. They have been completely rewired and are in excellent condition. These fixtures promise to please enthusiasts of both Art Deco and Mid-Century Modernist design, but would also be perfect for anyone looking for sophisticated sconces with clean lines to light just about any room.
