Louis XV style gilt bronze 33-light chandelier
French, 20th Century
Height 156cm, diameter 102cm
This beautiful chandelier is crafted from gilt bronze in the Rococo style of Louis XV. The chandelier features a shaped central column, which supports three tiers of scrolled light branches, numbering thirty-three in total. Each branch is ornately formed, moulded with foliate detailing. The column is adorned with figures of the Three Graces, and is decorated above with fine gilt bronze ribbon mounts and below with an artichoke finial. - More Information
