Pair of 1950s Jacques Biny Brass and Perforated Metal Sconces for Luminalite.

Executed in attractively patinated perforated brass, these innovative sconces by Jacques Biny provide a pleasing and indirect light. The curved shade reflects light off the large banded brass backing, filling any space with a warm glow. A very refined and quintessentially French Midcentury design by an increasingly collectible icon of the era. Unmarked.

Professionally rewired for US electrical and for mounting over standard US j-box. Each lamp accommodates 1x 60W max equivalent standard medium base (e26) LED bulb (LED only, not included). Retains original on/off pull cord. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.

Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
