Pair of Bent Karlby perforated metal and glass wall lamps for Lyfa. Executed in red lacquered metal with perforated star shaped details, brass and opaline glass. A lyrical and elegant Danish modern design with a sculptural form and whimsical touches characteristic of the finest work of Bent Karlby. Price is for the pair. Bent Karlby was one of the most innovative Danish modern lighting designers of the midcentury era. His refined designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know. Professionally rewired for single socket 60 watt max US candelabra bulb (lower with incandescent). Minor patina, bends, dents, chips and scuffs as largely shown in the images noted only for accuracy. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee.
