Description
Pretty (desk) lamp by Maison Arlus, in black lacquered metal and gilded brass.
The switch is located in the center of the base. Two bulbs. Recent lampshade in off-white linen, redone to be identical to the original.

Story: Maison Arlus
Arlus was a French lighting publisher, very active since the 1950s and close to the modern design movement. The house’s headquarters were in Paris in the 11th arrondissement and its exhibition store in the 17th arrondissement. The publisher offered more than 300 new classic or modern models. -
