Maison Charles pair of brushed steel adjustable swing-arm sconces 1960s
-
Description
This pair of signed Maison Charles 1960s sconces is made from brushed steel. The sconces were designed by Christiane Charles, the infamous French design house, and they display the typical neoclassical loo, with wonderful attention to detail. These wall lamps are adjustable, with swing-arms reaching 27.15 inches fully extended. The beautifully industrial meets classic design and the metallic colour palette contribute to the timeless look of this set. The pair has been fully restored, newly electrified, and is in a very good condition, with a nice remaining patina on the steel.
