Monumentally scaled table lamp by Marianne Starck (1938–2007) for Michael Andersen & Sons, having a tall ovoid form with flared neck, glazed in oyster shell craquel luster with hand-painted blue stylized foliate forms; earthenware; Denmark, 1950s; carved "MS 5691" (Base alone measures 20 inches high. With shade, overall height around 35 inches, depending on shade preference.)
