Unique set of four pendant lamps by Mathieu Matégot. The pendant consists of downturned hemispherical shade complete with original two-part prismatic glass lens, suspended from a conical perforated steel stem in its original cream paint that is still very good!
The pendant was designed over the years by the Hungarian-French designer Mathieu Matégot for Holophane (France). This piece is a well-known design that is well documented in general design literature.
The four pendants are in surprisingly good condition with very limited traces of use. -
