This sculptural and dynamic Mid-Century Modern lamp was designed by the illustrious Harold Weiss and Richard Barr for the Laurel Lamp Company in the United States, circa 1960. Forged in lustrous chrome- offering the appearance of quick silver- it features offers a curvilinear swooping form full of energy, verve, and motion. It sits on an austere and Minimalist rectangular black enamel base which offers a clean, geometric counterpoint to the amorphic form of the body. With its clean modernist lines and neutral palate, this gorgeous table lamp would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired and is in excellent condition. The lamp comes fitted with a custom shade. Excellent condition.
