Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte rare exquisite pair of large rectangular sconces, model 2311 variant, in thick chiseled glass with brass fittings and ivory glass side panels, Italy, circa 1964. These extraordinary sconces exhibit the delicate and harmonious combination of the thick hand-chiseled glass with the refined brass framing and warm ivory glass sides emanating a lovely romantic light. They are large in scale and command a presence in any interior whether traditional or contemporary. These very rare sconces are a variant of model 2311 and hardly ever seen on the market - this pair of sconces were acquired originally from Hôtel San Remo, Italy.
