-
Description
Rare French Mid-Century Modern floor / wall light sconce sculpture by Max Sauze (France, 1933).
Sauze's three-part lighted sculpture is a poetic composition of a handmade stainless steel frame and curved aluminum strands internally illuminated to reflect and redirect light in mysterious ways. The sculpture can be mounted on the wall or stacked on the floor to form a freestanding sculpture / floor lamp. Two of the three square elements light, one has no lighting element allowing the viewer to arrange them in way where the viewer participates in the presentation of light. -
