Modern functionalism at its finest. 1 of 2 Lamps ever made for the Villa Lampert in Weimar. This lamp was custom-made for the Villa Interior by Max Schumacher between 1920 and 1925. The Lamp is very adjustable to nearly all direction. The arm has a long telescope from the length of 31"/ 78 cm to 49" / 124 cm. The glass shade is mint and the steel base is in very good condition with a slight patina. The fitting of the bulb can also be height adjusted. Extra ordinary German Bauhaus quality.
These Lamps were resulting from the work with Walter Gropius. 1 x E27 Bulb / Model A.
