This stunning and dramatic Mid-Century Modern chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features an abundance of translucent glass triedre crystals (one of the most iconic forms in the history of Italian glass blowing) that attach to a brass frame. The brass gently refracts through the translucent crystals imbuing the piece with a subtle warmth, while the staggered heights of the triedre crystals lend the chandelier an unmistakably dynamic (and captivating) presence. With its clean modernist lines and refined color palate, this piece is as versatile as it is beautiful, blending perfectly with any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The chandelier accommodates 9 candelabra based bulbs offering up to 540 watts of light. The height can be adjusted to suit.
