Description
This gorgeous Mid-Century Modernist Hand-Blown Murano Glass Chandelier w/24Karat Gold Flecks originates from Italy, Circa 1960. This ornately rendered chandelier features winding arms in hand-blown transparent glass that emerge from a central housing with cupped shades featuring striated linear patterns and crown like peaks of glass surrounding the edges, with 24Karat Gold flecks embedded within. The body of the chandelier features stacked tiers with floral appliqués and elegant curvilinear forms. With a floral glass drop element at the base, this exquisite piece has an elegant gravity with a classical form rendered in a minimal and materially stunning manner. This chandelier accommodates seven Edison base bulbs achieving up to 700 watts of light, with a height that can be adjusted to suit. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
