This stunning modernist "Miracle" chandelier- was custom made for High Style Deco and hand crafted by artisans in New York state. Inspired by the "Miracle" chandeliers in the Metropolitan Opera House, it offers an abundance of polished nickel rods in a dynamic sputnik form full of verve and élan. The polished nickel rods, extending from a spherical oil rubbed bronze center, culminate in White quartz obelisks, faceted crystal spherical and torus forms, and dappled oil rubbed bronze orbs spokes blossoming outwards capped with a faceted translucent and rock crystal (suggesting the chandelier in miniature). With its beautiful attention to detail and clean modernist lines, this chandelier would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It is in excellent condition and has been newly rewired to American standards. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates 11 candelabra based bulbs offering up to 660 watts of light.
