Large 1950s Paavo Tynell glass and brass sconces for Taito Oy. These are a unique pair of vintage custom made sconces that are quite similar to the ones Tynell designed for the Kontiolahti Church in Finland. Executed in attractively patinated brass and handblown opaline glass. Professionally updated wiring for US electrical, each sconce accommodates a single medium base 60 watt incandescent bulb (higher with LED).
