Pair of 1940s Paavo Tynell 'A1942' counterweight pendants for Taito Oy. This rare and exceptionally pair is executed in brass, and can be raised and lowered using its ingenious counterweight and pulley system. Manufactured by Taito Oy in the early 1950s, this is a fine example of a Tynell's iconic design. Literature: Taito, manufacturer's catalogue, unpaginated.
