This elegant pair of sculptural Mid Century Modern table lamps were realized in Italy, circa 1960. They feature sinuously curved bodies sitting on black enamel bases with brass fittings throughout. The lamp bodies have been handblown in white Murano glass, with 24 kt gold murines and a subtle diamond surface pattern in relief. With their inimitably hand crafted glass- full of expressionistic detail and graphic silhouette, these lamps are as versatile as they are aesthetically appealing, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition. The lamps come fitted with custom shades and accommodate two Edison based bulbs each offering up to 400 watts of light for the pair.
