A pair of Neoclassical-inspired five candle ormolu sconces; the tier of four candles on each is swing-armed. This pair are two of a larger set specified for a Hudson Valley Astor family estate house library, in a house designed by prominent NYC society architect Mott B. Schmidt.

Five decades of antiques collecting experience in a succession of Historic Register homes in Virginia, New York, and Connecticut; and a 1901 beaux arts building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Open Thursday through Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and on Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment. -
