Commonly Used as a Decorative Architectural Ornament,The 'Green Man' Is Frequently Used in Carvings on Both Secular and Ecclesiastical Buildings. There is A Famous Green Man Fountain in Campo San Giacomo,Venice Italy That Embraces The Similar Form as in These Sconces. These Sconces were made In Italy in The 1700's.
