Pair of French walnut table lamps by Philippe Barbier 1970s
-
Description
This mid-century modern pair of lamps was designed by French lighting artist Philippe Barbier in the 1970s, and, with its bulbous midsection topping a thick square base, is typical of his designs. Beautifully varnished French walnut is the chief material used; the light from the lamps reflects off the body for a glossy shine. The pair casts a warm, fun mood around a room, while still feeling sophisticated, and will suit perfectly a warm bedroom. Fully restored and revarnished, and in great vintage condition.
