A Russian Empire style black and gold bronze chandelier from the 20th century, with six lights, classical figures and foliage motifs. Created in Russia during the 20th century, this Empire style chandelier features a central basket connected to the upper canopy thanks to a series of links. This basket is adorned with a frieze of foliage on the edge, as well as ornate motifs on the belly. Six elegant scrolling arms, showcasing eagle heads on one side and winged classical figures on the other, support etched glass bobèches and their candle sleeves. Newly wired for the US, this black and gold Empire style Russian six-light chandelier will bring a refined presence to any home, perhaps hung in a living room or bedroom.
