Sculptural Clear and Amber Murano Glass Petals or "Selle" Drop Chandelier, Italy

Unique sculptural chandelier consisting of Amber and Clear, hand-casted Murano glass elements shaped like "petals" or selle (Italian meaning saddle) cascading down from a white powder-coated steel frame. The amber color which is dropped in the molten Murano glass as it cools is a warm and rich shade of honey amber. It also has golden undertones which makes the color shine. The chandelier can be suspended from a long chain or shortened without the use of the chain. Measurements are for the glass chandelier portion only. The overall length of the chandelier with the chain (20"), canopy (4") and rod (4") is 75" total. It can be hung with the chain or simply with the rod and canopy for different lengths.

Wired for U.S. use. This chandelier is on display at the Gallery at 200 Lex at the New York Design Center.
