1950s brass and glass suspension light attributed to Bruno Gatta for Stilnovo. A quintessentially 1950s Italian design executed in textured opaline glass, black painted metal and patinated brass with original ceiling canopy modified for mounting over a standard American J-box. A highly functional and sculptural suspension light of attractive scale and incomparable refinement. Unmarked. Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know.
