Large 1960s Stilnovo Opaline Glass & Metal Flush Mount by Bruno Gatta. A quintessentially 1950s Italian design executed in opaline glass, white painted metal and darkly patinated brass mounting screws. A highly functional and sculptural flush mount of attractive scale and incomparable refinement. Unmarked.
Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by discerning collectors.
Accommodates 3x 60W equivalent standard medium base (e26) LED bulbs (LED only). Professionally rewired for US electrical but not UL listed. Recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
