1950s Stilux Perforated Metal & Glass Ceiling Lamp In The Manner of Bruno Gatta. A quintessentially 1950s Italian design executed in opaline glass, black painted perforated metal and mounting screws. A highly functional and sculptural flush mount of attractive scale and incomparable refinement.
Retains original "Stilux Milano" manufacturer's label.
Stilux was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by discerning collectors.
Professionally rewired for US electrical but not UL listed. Recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Rewired for 1x 75w equivalent medium base e26 LED bulb. Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, losses and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. -
