Description
Providing perfect light in a unique form, this pendant lamp will complement a modern interior, providing a subtle glow and captivating ambiance. The name Phantasma comes from its ethereal shape reminiscent of souls departing from the earth and rising to the heavens, created entirely by hand using a special woven natural fiber from the banana tree that reveals its unique texture when illuminated by the light source inside.
This award-winning design debuted at Salone Satellite in Milan in 2019 and is currently in stock and available in either natural color or silver.

About Mirei Monticelli
Mirei is a Milan-based multidisciplinary designer who started her career in her birthplace, the Philippines. Working from her roots has exposed her to the world of traditional manufacturing and production of furniture, where everything is made by hand. This environment exposed her to the beautiful world of artisan crafts, but then gave her the yearning to explore state-of-the-art techniques that come from the western world. Graduating from Politecnico di Milano in 2017 with a degree in Design and Engineering has given her more experience in the technical point of view. Her work spans product design, interior design, creative consultancy and art direction.
