Sputnik Chandelier for Temde Leuchten by Max Bill & Nele, Switzerland, 1960's
-
Description
This atomic chandelier with nine white opalescent glass bulbs was designed by the Swiss artist and designer E.R. Nele for Temde Leuchten. The globes are hand blown and fitted with a screwing device. It's a very rare version and very hard to find: the version in brass. The brass contrasts heavily with the white opaline bulbs giving this Sputnik the Swiss luxurious appearance.
The lamp has nine bulbs, forming a cloud of light. It can be used both as a table lamp or as a chandelier. It is a high-end production with heavy brass and screws inserted opalines.
High quality and in very good condition. Cleaned, well-wired and ready to use.
The fixture requires 9 x E14 standard bulbs.
Light bulbs are not included. It is possible to install this fixture in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Australia.). -
