Description
This contemporary pendant lamp, offered in a limited edition of 12 pieces, is inspired by geometric and organic patterns as well as by an industrial style with glass shades from the 1960s. Designed with handcrafted bronze connections the lamp comes with six shades made of 60ies opaline glass mounted on a brass cylinder, each one with a brass articulation allowing many different orientations of the shades. Matte brass and bronze finish. The orientation of the arms can be additionally changed by loosening the screws. Height can be customised to your needs at no additional cost. Here the lamp is shown with a 30 cm (11,8") long rod. It is packed with hanging arm and canopy (package size: 50 x 50 x 72 cm / 20" x 20" x 28.5"). Six bulbs, recommended: 4W warm-light led bulbs (Maximum: 200W in total).
Each piece signed and numbered on metal.
Thierry Jeannot (b. 1963) is a French-born designer living in Mexico for the last 25 years. Working across product design, interior and social design, he focuses on generating high added value to recycled materials through design. He is interested in traditional techniques and materials and has worked closely with craftspeople both in Paris (Thierry Mugler) and in Mexico City. He follows a design philosophy where design and the production process are never separated. He always designs and constructs the pieces himself. -
